As part of my home tour series I am going to show you my powder room. It’s a small space, with high ceilings. I decided to go against convention which says you can’t use a dark color in a small space and went for drama! I painted it red, used black and oil rubbed bronze accessories, and I’m happy with how it turned out.
The mirror was a Target find, and I love it in this space. I got those dot boxes for $10, the vase is one I made in college and stuck a $2 plant from Hobby Lobby in.
The sink is my favorite part. It’s a furniture style vanity, and I love the shape of it.
This light was originally in my office bathroom, but I decided I wanted to switch it to the powder room because it’s a nicer light and no one uses the office bathroom but me.
I love these prints, and I think it’s mainly because they have such substantial frames. They were at a local frame shop’s outlet. Which I think is basically where they put the stuff they framed that people didn’t pick up or don’t like. They were a steal at $10 each. And if I get tired of the prints I can always reuse the frames.
That’s it, thanks for looking at my powder room reveal.
